Shiatsu is a Japanese form of massage therapy. The word Shiatsu means “finger pressure The theory underlying shiatsu is the same as acupuncture: Energy flows through meridians in your body, and applying pressure to specific points along those meridians affects your physical body, providing benefits such as relief from headaches and a wide variety of aches and pains, along with relief from stress, anxiety and other mental disturbances.
